This resin art painting on canvas was made with Greek aqua waters in mind. Light aqua waters next to deep blue water is such a stunning sight and is never captured by the camera, as well as by the eye! I wanted to replicate what I see in the moment. 
 
This painting was created by mixing various acrylic blue colours and resin and laying them down separately, but next to each other. Adding a second layer of resin and alcohol inks creates the gold and white waves, creating depth and a 3D effect. Crushed glass is an added embellishment that creates a little simple opulence and contrast.
 
A special gift for those who love the ocean and all that the aqua blue waters inspire.. a little escapism.
