About Me
My creative journey
Hi, I'm Kym! I'm a resin artist, workshop tutor, and lifelong lover of the ocean. After years in the corporate world, I took the leap to follow my creative passion full-time. My journey began with a simple love for art and the calming magic of water, and has grown into a vibrant business based near the stunning South Cornwall coast.

The inspiration behind my art
Water is at the heart of everything I create. I'm fascinated by its ever-changing colours and moods - from soft, rippling tides to dramatic, stormy waves. I use vibrant ocean hues and shimmering details to reflect the beauty of the sea, drawing inspiration from both local Cornish shores and my frequent travels to Greece. My aim is to bring the sense of calm, movement, and energy into practical art pieces for your home.

What I make
I specialise in handmade resin art, acrylic pouring, and mixed media pieces using pigment powders and alcohol inks on wood, bamboo, canvas, ceramics, glass, slate, and shell. Every piece is unique, designed to bring a touch of the coast indoors - whether it's a functional item like a coaster or a one-of-a-kind artwork for your wall.

Sharing creativity
Art isn't just about making things - it's about sharing the process and joy with others. For the past 18 months, I've been running hands-on resin and acrylic pouring workshops for adults and children in Devon. I'm now excited to bring these to my garden studio in St Austell Bay, Cornwall. Watching people discover the magic of creating something beautiful (often for the first time!) is incredibly rewarding. I will also be training later this year to become an art therapy practitioner, so that I can help others find relaxation and confidence through creativity.

Why I craft
For me, crafting is therapeutic. It's my "happy place", a way to unwind, let go of stress, and push my creative boundaries. I love seeing ideas come to life and knowing that my work can bring a sense of calm and beauty into someone else's space.
